Narrative & creative projects
Cinematic precision. Engineered for impact.
The Director’s Perspective
Beyond the cut, there is a subtext. Drawing on my end-to-end production background, I bring a high-level cinematic finish to documentaries, short films, and music videos. I apply a Director’s eye to ensure that every transition and creative choice serves the heart of the story.I specialize in projects where the edit is a deliberate narrative tool, creating an immersive experience that resonates long after the screen goes dark.
Precision-led editing that transforms complex creative concepts into cohesive, professional-grade productions.
The MEDIA AND FILM AWARDS 2025 - FILM/EVENT
I transformed the Media and Film Department’s annual Oscars-style awards at The Sixth Form College Farnborough into a high-stakes narrative experience. The conceptual theme, 'The Rise of Technet,' envisioned the college’s internal system becoming sentient—capturing faculty and scattering student coursework across iconic cinematic universes. My role was to engineer a seamless two-hour edit that balanced this rogue-AI storyline with the celebration of student achievement. By weaving together narrative sketches and coursework showcases, I maintained a relentless pace that kept students, parents, and staff engaged throughout the live event.
BY MOLLY AND AARON - VLOGS
I’ve engineered a specific editing framework for long-form content that bridges the gap between high-performance strategy and authentic storytelling. Every edit opens with a calculated hook to secure immediate retention, teasing the narrative’s peak while preserving the intimate, "home video" warmth of a classic vlog. The pacing is intentionally tight—fast enough to eliminate friction, yet balanced to ensure the story breathes. The result is a seamless viewer experience that feels effortless, polished, and leaves the audience wanting more.
PSA Kit respect Video - short film
To combat the mistreatment of equipment in the Media and Film Department at Farnborough Sixth Form College, I created a "funny but tragic" PSA video to ensure the message stuck with a Gen-Z audience. I utilised slick, rhythmic cuts on the beat that accelerated to the climax, mirroring the camera's journey. By keeping the camera’s position fixed while the environment shifted around it, I forged an emotional connection between the viewer and the hardware. I intentionally shifted the colour grade from a warm, vibrant aesthetic when the camera was used well, to a cold, sombre palette when the camera began to slowly deteriorate. And I decided the camera should have googly eyes because, well... it's funny - and it humanises it.
Why it works
To create a story that stays with the audience, I focus on three core pillars:
THE pacing
Crafting a rhythmic flow that breathes with the narrative, building tension or emotion exactly where it's needed
THE Atmosphere
Using bespoke colour grading and immersive sound design to build a world that feels authentic to the project.
THE intent
Ensuring every single frame contributes to the overarching theme, maintaining creative integrity from start to finish.
